No one would have thought back in the 20th century that the United States of America would become a dictatorship. When the millennium hit people were dreaming of flying cars, A.I., and colonies on Mars, though no one was too keen on six world powers, mass genocide, and organized religion illegal in five of the six continents. In 2088 the election of Rowland Kensington brought about the first openly dictatorial President of the United States of America. In 2100, with the election of President Fisher Morgan, the United States of America had its last election. President Morgan named himself Dictator Morgan in 2102 and was in power until 2115, when he was assassinated at the age of forty-nine. A new power, Maxwell Rogers took over in 2115 and died of a heart attack at fifty-three in 2120. Rogers’ good friend Lucian Fox, who was only thirty-eight at the time, stepped in through the chaos. Fox retired at the age of sixty-five in 2147 and his son Damien came to power at the age of forty. Twelve years later in 2159, fifty-two year old Damien has mentioned the possibility of retiring, and most suspect if he does he will let one of his twin sons take over, either the more passive Dimitri or the foolhardier Philip, though both are only fifteen years old.
It was 2119 when, after a ten year trek, the United States took over Canada, but it wasn’t until 2132 that South America was taken over as well, the whole continent of the Americas being renamed United America, or UA. In 2135 Europe was dubbed Dominito, under the rule of king Paul I. Africa became the African Assembly under Dictator John Lewis in 2136. But it was Asia, named the AN or Asian Nations, that in 2130 became the first continental dictatorship and led the way for the other nations. In 2137 the Island Act was passed and all of the smaller islands around the globe were destroyed, to prevent rebellion and escape. Australia became Pax Pacis, the only democratic continental nation in 2138, and in 2139 Australia became the only continent with legal organized religion, while the Separation Act was passed to demolish all continental ties and disconnect the ruling nations. In 2141 Antarctica became the continental dictatorship of Glacialis, ruled by Paco and Joanne Stefani.
