The Lower Levels - 1 Viewing The basements and 1st floor of Fleetwood are very different. Records, storage, and secrets all play a part in the basement, which is rarely entered by the children, except in the case of an extreme storm. The first floor on the other hand, is where the dining area, visitation rooms, and library are, along with classrooms. |

The Upper Levels The second and third floors of Fleetwood are their own world. The second floor is where any staff resides, and the bathrooms are located. Some of the oldest children sleep on the second floor, but otherwise all of the children sleep in the third floor. |

The Yard Starting with the veranda the yard at Fleetwood is a contradiction of scenery. The veranda is a pleasant place with a small bench in the corner, but it contradicts the nefarious vines crawling up the back of the building. The shoddily cut grass contradicts the lovingly cared for rose bushes. And finally the few simple wooden benches in the back greatly contrast the disturbing forest they lay in sight of. Just past the clearing of the yard, though still on Fleetwood land, is the forest. It is said that there is a cemetery hidden somewhere within the trees, and a river as well, but for all the other, far more terrible tales of Fleetwood forest, few of the children, when allowed, actually venture past the first few trees. |
